The Film Setareh Ghotbi (فیلم پولاریس) is about post-traumatic war photographer struggles to keep secrets from her husband and escape her inevitable return to the Middle East. In 2017, Polaris was nominated for three awards at the California Women’s Moviei Festival in Los Angeles: Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress, and won Best Picture.
