Ahe Sard
Ahe Sard (فیلم آه سرد) is a 2025 Iranian social-drama film marking the directorial debut of Nahid Seddiq, written and directed by Seddiq and produced by Reza Mohaqqat. It premiered at the 41st Fajr Film Festival, where its teaser and poster were officially unveiled. The film tells the haunting story of two men—Baha and Bahram—who embark on a road journey through mountainous terrain. Their silent companionship is steeped in tension: Baha is driven by a two-decade-long desire for vengeance, seeking closure to a deeply emotional trauma.
“Cold Sigh” has received international acclaim, earning numerous festival invitations and awards. Notably, cinematographer Masoud Amini Tirani won Best Cinematography at Italy’s Ischia Film Festival, lauded for capturing the film’s emotional conflict and the protagonist’s fraught relationship with his father Mehr News. The film also screened in major festivals across Moscow, Santa Barbara, Cheboksary, Pskov, and within the international section of Fajr—garnering acclaim including a Silver St. George for Best Director (Moscow), Audience Choice (Moscow), and a Special Jury Prize at Fajr. Anchored by performances from Iman Seddiq and Ali Bagheri, “Cold Sigh” stands out as a haunting exploration of revenge, grief, and reconciliation, elevated by its evocative visuals and international recognition.
