Ankaboot Moghadas

The Ankaboot Moghadas Film (فیلم عنکبوت مقدس) is about a journalist, played by Zahra Amirabrahimi, enters a world where a man dubbed the spider killer by the media is doing his reprehensible act. When Saeed is arrested and sentenced to death, public opinion turns him into a hero.

The Moviei’s director, Ali Abbasi, was a student in Tehran at the time of the murders and was baffled by the conservative backlash that presented Hanai as a hero and how long it took the police to arrest him.
