Baradarane Leila (فیلم برادران لیلا) is a Persian Movie which is about Leila (Alidosti song) who is a forty-year-old single woman who lives in a family dealing with economic crisis. He works in the administrative office of a passage and has the only fixed income of the family, but neither his father nor his four brothers listen to him. Ismail (Saeed Poursamimi) is the father of the family, an old man who is addicted to opium, and recently shows signs of Alzheimer’s. Alireza (Navid Mohammadzadeh) is a reasonable brother, a worker who was retrenched due to the embezzlement of the factory owner. Parviz (Farhad Aslani) is busy in Leila Passage as a crew who collects toilet fees. His fifth child was recently born because he always wanted a boy. Farhad (Mohammed Ali Mohammadi) also does not have a fixed job and is constantly working out.

Beautifully made movie hitting a number of social themes in Iranian society: poverty, social class contrasts, exploitation, family dynamics, women issues and more. It is heartbreaking but possibly a good representation of many lives in Iran amidst sanctions and the ensuing economical uncertainties.
