Kankel Ghesmate 6 (سریال کنکل قسمت ششم) is a 2025 Iranian mystery-drama series directed by Ramtin Lavafi-Pour, marking his debut in television. Produced by Mohammad Masoud, the series is the inaugural production of the newly established streaming platform, StarNet. The narrative delves into enigmatic themes, weaving suspenseful storylines that captivate viewers. The ensemble cast features prominent Iranian actors, including Saber Abar, Amir Aghaei, Pedram Sharifi, and Setareh Pesyani. Notably, actress Hanieh Tavassoli returns to the screen after a two-year hiatus, following the lifting of her professional ban, to play a significant role in the series. Filming commenced in Tehran after several delays attributed to casting changes and production challenges. Director Lavafi-Pour brings a rich cinematic background to the project, having previously directed acclaimed films such as “Be Calm and Count to Seven,” which won the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival, and “Berlin -7,” a multiple award-winner at the Fajr Film Festival.
