Zoodpaz Film

Zoodpaz Movie (فیلم زودپز) is a 2025 Iranian comedy film directed by Rambod Javan and produced by Mansour Sohrabpour. Set in 1987 during the tumultuous period of Tehran’s missile attacks, the story revolves around two brothers-in-law, Siros and Shahin, portrayed by Mohsen Tanabandeh and Navid Mohammadzadeh, respectively. Amidst the chaos of war, the accidental explosion of a pressure cooker in their father-in-law’s shop leads to his severe injury and subsequent death. To evade blame and secure benefits for the family, Siros and Shahin devise a plan to have their father-in-law recognized as a martyr, resulting in a series of comedic and unpredictable events. The film skillfully blends humor with the harsh realities of wartime Tehran, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the 1980s era. “Zoodpaz” was released in Iranian cinemas on October 9, 2024, and became available for online streaming on March 25, 2025.
